Beginning in 2016, research assistants working with the “Unsettling the Settler Artist, Reframing the Canadian Visual Arts” SSHRC Insight Grant project began compiling images, material culture, and ephemera that mapped settler colonization and colonial formations through visual art in the contested white state of “Canada.” This sampling represents a selection of their research.
